LEONARDO HOTELS CENTRAL EUROPE, headquartered in Berlin, is responsible for the hotel portfolio in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Italy and France. With operations in 10 countries and 48 destinations, the hotel portfolio offers 110 hotels with 18,000+ rooms. The brand family consists of Leonardo Hotels, Leonardo Royal Hotels, Leonardo Boutique Hotels, NYX Hotels by Leonardo Hotels, and Leonardo Limited Edition. Centrally located, they are known for high quality and service standards as well as stylish interior design with regional flair.

Fattal Story

Leonardo Hotels is constantly expanding and this is due to the vision and engagement of David Fattal, founder and CEO of Fattal Hotels, as well as of Molly Katz, Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels.

David Fattal was born in 1957 in Haifa, Israel and graduated in Management, Sociology and Pedagogy at the University of Haifa. Furthermore, he also studied at the Tadmor School for Hotel Management in Herzliya and took part in several courses of the Cornell University in New York, USA. His professional career in the hotel industry began at the age of 27 when he was appointed General Manager for the prestigious Dan Accadia Hotels in Herzliya. After several managing positions, in 1996 David Fattal took over the direction of the Africa Israel Hotels & Resorts Ltd., a subsidiary of Africa Israel Investments. Thanks to his leadership the concept of the franchise of the International hotel brand Holiday Inn was successfully introduced in the Israeli market. In 1998 David Fattal started his own business, the Fattal Hotel Management Company and opened the first hotel of the chain, Le Meridien Hotel Eilat. In 2005 Fattal Hotels undertook an expansion project of its hotel portfolio investing in properties located in Europe:Leonardo Hotels was founded as the European Division of Fattal Hotels. Nowadays, the hotel chain boasts more than 150 properties in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Netherlands, UK, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic and Poland. Leonardo Hotels will continue to expand, focusing on hotel properties in Germany and other important European cities and capitals.

Management

The Central Europe headquarters of Leonardo Hotels is located in Berlin, Germany. From here, the different departments of Finance, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Project Management as well as Revenue & E-Commerce coordinate efficiently all operations throughout central Europe every day.
