Very nice hotel but not a great location to find alternative restaurants

The hotel and underground parking were easy to find and located within easy walking distance of Augsburg old town centre. We had an extremely comfortable one-night stay here in clean, attractive, modern surroundings and were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a spacious, tastefully furnished junior suite. We slept well and the temperature in our room remained pleasant despite the intense heat outdoors. My only criticism concerns the breakfast area, which was cramped and overcrowded. Only one coffee machine, which was malfunctioning, was not enough and the orange juice tasted artificial.

We had a very nice 2 night stay here. Really loved everything about the hotel! Would definately stay again.

the location is great if you want to visit Munich and surrounding places, not too far from anything, great staff, great room, great service. Thank you for having is, we will return for sure :)

Pleasantly surprised by upgrade of one of our rooms on arrival. Everything wonderful.

We were very happy with the Leonardo: room, staff, restaurant, parking all high quality. An easy tram-ride from town. Excellent value for money.

Everything is according expectations, just the location is a backside, you have to walk 20 min to come downtown Augsburg. But public transport seems to be a possibility.

We liked staying at the Augsburg Leonardo. The hotel was well run, well located especially for the tram network. We ate in the hotel restaurant on two evenings and thought the food was excellent. It was nice to sit out in the small courtyard with a drink. The waiter service was excellent. Breakfast was very good with plenty of fresh food and good choice. Our room was clean, quiet and well equipped.

Always happy with the service and hotel whenever in Germany Leonardo is the go-to place. Highly recommended, no other comments needed.

Really excellent hotel

Good hotel. Comfortable stay near transport links. Easy to get around.

Overall excellent stay, made even better by a tray I found in my room with "Happy Birthday" written in cream with sweets and fruit. A very nice, personal touch which was greatly appreciated.

Fabulous hotel and great value for money. Staff very friendly and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed only for a night. But the room was great - comfy bed, big bathroom, complementary water, coffee (which btw was delicious), tea. We ordered (room service) some food from the restaurant-king prawns, pulpo, mango&avocado salad-and it was very very good. All hotel staff were super nice. All in all / 10 out of 10.

This was an overnight stay on our way to further adventures, probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff that we interacted with during our stay were all amazing.

Extremely pleasant stay, onsite parking very easy and ideal location. Huge selection of breakfast food and drink. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, bar and lounge areas very comfortable.

Lovely modern hotel on the fringe of the city . The tram is across the road to get into the city centre. Reception staff were excellent at explaining everything we needed to know for our stay. Parking is available under the hotel with a small charge . The room was spacious very clean comfortable bed & a great shower. Breakfast was average the breakfast staff were not helpful or friendly.

Well, what can I say!! What an amazing experience and stay. I was early on my arrival, but this was no issue, a room was ready, and when I walked in, the room was extremely well kitted out, it had everything you need, including a washing service (although I didn't use it). I hadn't been well prior to my visit due to a hospital visit, however, I soon relaxed into the hotel. I never normally use the onsite facilities, such as restaurant, but, this time, I did, and I'm so glad, I had a lunch one day and booked a table for the following evening, the meals were very good, served very quickly and overall were well worth the money. On one particular evening I had the company of Joy, who explained she was finishing her apprenticeship in hospitality, she was very present and friendly, as were all the staff, however she stuck out as someone who was very attentive and on a side note, I wish her all of the best with her chosen Carear. Every member of staff I had the chance to talk too were all very nice, very friendly and were there if you needed them, so please know you are in very safe hands with all of the staff. Whoever chose them for employment needs a gold star. Back the stay.... The room was cleaned everyday, although you could opt out of the service if you wished, but who doesnt like a freshly made bed and clean towels. Very comfortable bed, lovely showers and everything just as you want it really, I will be recommending the hotel to anyone who wants to visit the area, and I will 100% be returning in the not too distant future. Thank you to all of the amazing staff, you do the hotel proud.
