To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employees, a number of rules and regulations have been put in place. By visiting any Apollo Hotel, Leonardo Hotel or affiliated restaurant in the Netherlands or Belgium, you agree to abide by these rules.

Besides our own rules, the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) also need to be followed. You can view these regulations yourself by downloading them on this website.
OUR OWN RULES
Instructions from hotel personnel
Guests are expected to follow the instructions of hotel personnel, as they pertain to these rules, at all times.
Check-in
All guests that will be staying in one of our hotel rooms need to present a valid ID during check-in.
Guests must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by their parent or legal guardian, in order to check-in.
Payment
In some cases, it is possible to complete payment of your reservation after arriving at the hotel, during check-in. A credit card or debit card can be used. We do not accept cash.
Lost and found
Found items must be handed in at the front desk.
In case of any missing, damaged or stolen items we advise you to rapport the incident to both the local police department and your own (travel) insurance. If needed, we will assist you with this.
The hotel, management and/or people employed by the hotel cannot be held liable or responsible for missing, damaged or stolen items.
Purpose of your visit
It is prohibited to trade, sell or offer (stolen) goods during your visit.
It is prohibited to receive paying visitors in your room for the purpose of sexual activities.
Liability
The hotel, management and/or people employed by the hotel cannot be held liable or responsible for any injuries, material or immaterial, to guests or their belongings that might occur during your visit to one of our hotels.
Emergency exits
The emergency exits may only be used in case of emergency, not as regular entry and exit doors.
Property of the hotel
It is prohibited to take property of the hotel outside of the building.
In cases of wilful destruction of our property you may be held liable for the replacement and/or reparation costs.
In case of fire
Remain calm.
Follow the instructions of hotel personnel at all times.
Report the fire to the front desk and/or break the glass of a fire alarm.
In case of a general fire alarm, leave the building immediately.
Do not use any elevators.
Drugs
It is strictly prohibited to use, consume, trade, sell or carry any drugs (including nitrous oxide a.k.a laughing gas) during your visit to one of our hotels.
The police will be called if you fail to comply with this policy.
Alcohol and tobacco sales
We do not serve alcoholic beverages or sell tobacco products to visitors younger than 18 years old.
Visitors older than 18, but younger than 25 must show a valid ID when ordering alcoholic beverages or purchasing tobacco products.
Firearms and weapons
It is prohibited to carry any weapons (including firearms) during your visit to any of our hotels.
The police will be called if you fail to comply with this policy.
Disturbance and nuisance
It is prohibited to disturb other guests in any way, for instance by making noise, playing loud music or other indecent behaviour.
Smoking
In all of our hotels, it is strictly prohibited to smoke indoors including in the hotel rooms. It is not allowed to smoke from an open window, either.
If you fail to comply with this policy, we may impose a fine upon you and/or require you to pay cleaning fees.
If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking, we may impose a fine upon you and/or require you to pay cleaning fees, replacement costs and/or fire department costs.
Smoke alarm
It is strictly prohibited to cover, remove or sabotage smoke alarms in our hotels.
If you fail to comply with this policy, we may impose a fine upon you and/or require you to pay replacement costs.
Camera Surveillance (CCTV) and privacy
To protect our guests' property and that of our hotels, we use camera surveillance in some of the rooms that are generally accessible to the public, such as the hotel lobby.
The images are stored for a brief period of time and subsequently deleted, unless any incident has occurred which makes it necessary to store the images for longer. We do not use any facial recognition techniques or any other methods enabling the electronic identification of persons. And of course, we do not make any sound recordings.
The data compiled and used in connection with this service may exclusively be accessed by the staff of Leonardo Hotels, its group companies and other affiliated companies if they require this data for the performance of their duties. In principle, no other parties may access this data. However, we may occasionally be obliged to provide external parties with the data pursuant to a statutory obligation or a dispute.
If you fail to comply with any of our rules, regulations or policies, we may decide to call the police and you may be asked to vacate your room and/or other areas of the building immediately. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s), without previous notice and without restitution of any previously paid (reservation) fees.
In all cases where these rules and regulations fall short, the hotel management will decide.
