We had a pleasant stay as a group of three, with an extra bed that was quite comfortable. The only downside was the pillows and the air conditioning/heating system, which didn’t seem to make a difference regardless of the setting. The air was very dry at night, so we turned it off on the second night and opened a window, which made the room much more comfortable. The sauna was nice, though the steam room was out of order. The gym was small but well-equipped. Breakfast had a great variety, and the vegan section was a highlight for me. Check-in was smooth and quick, and we were even offered an early check-in free of charge, which was a great touch.

My wife and I celebrated a romantic trip in Berlin, and we chose to stay at Leonardo Royal Berlin. It was a perfect choice! The room was comfortable and spacious, the atmosphere was charming, and the service was excellent. The reception staff was courteous and welcoming, and the restaurant staff served us rich and delicious breakfasts. The hotel's central location allowed us easy access to all the main attractions of Berlin. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic and unforgettable vacation in Berlin.

Cordial, pleasant and easy-going staff, great facilities, excellent food, online services (e.g. check-in) and email exchanges to manage reservations are user-friendly and quick, location is ideal with tramway on the opposite side of the road, 10 min walk to Alexanderplatz and 50 min walk to Brandenburger Tor.

Very friendly and welcoming - wished me a happy birthday and got an upgrade for my room. First time travelling alone so felt very safe in this hotel. One thing to improve is the sauna, steam room was not functional which I was not told when I paid the €5 to go in, it was also very small and there were naked men in there. For being co ed and so small I think it should be required to have swimwear as very very uncomfortable, if I had known no steam room and also naked I wouldn’t have gone in. Breakfast was great, loved the pancakes and fresh but butter. Overall an excellent stay.

Our stay was so memorable We arrived at 06:30 in the morning and the staff gave us the room early with no surcharge. The room was fantastic!

We stayed here for 3 nights, the room was clean and had all amenities we needed. The shower was powerful and the bed was comfortable. The hotel noise was quiet. Overall the hotel was great, I would stay here again.

The check in was super fast, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good bur not so many options. The room could have been a litte bigger. The localization was perfekt too, near Alexander platz but without all the chaos, close to many public transport stops, the view was not the best though, with all the old apartments in fort of. All in all was a good Hotel.

Everything was really nice. Just one thing was negative for us. We were here just for one night, to relax, but room service came to our room at 8:10 a.m. and he had opened room by his card. We can not understand why they didn’t wait until we left the hotel room.

This hotel was the best we have stayed In, and we have been to Berlin many times. The property is clean, and the staff are so friendly and helpful, the bar staff were exceptional nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast us out of this world, there is so much to choose from and it never runs out. We liked it so much we plan to return next year. Thank you Leonardo Royal for a great stay!

Clean and updated hotel near just about everything with quick access to the subway and tram. Friendly staff that were eager to help. Would definitely go back when in Berlin again!

Lovely hotel

My Dad had a double room for himself. The bed was made up with a single duvet which was placed horizontally across the bed meaning that he had to take it off and reposition it lengthways. I’ve never seen a bed made up like this before in a hotel. Otherwise would highly recommend this hotel.

The towels were very old with holes and grey from the time they were used. And we had no proper blanket for a double bed, only a small one, not enough for one person. But we received the second blanket quite fast from the receptionist.

Great stay for a long weekend. Staff were really nice and accommodating, room was very cosy and clean and had everything we needed. Location was convenient as it was super close to the tram station. Would defo stay here again :)

We stayed as a couple from England at the Leonardo Royal for 5 days in late October 2024. The aim of our trip was a city break, including sightseeing and activities, combined with downtime and relaxation. The hotel was really easy to find on arrival from the airport, placed directly on the M4 tram line, easily accessible from Alexanderplatz. This line to Hackescher Markt and the proximity to Alexanderplatz on foot made navigating the city very easy. A great location just out of the hubbub to enable a peaceful break but close enough to feel you were still in the thick of things! At the hotel itself, you wanted for nothing! The food and drink selection, particularly the breakfast buffet and evening cocktail menu was extensive and all of great quality and well worth sampling! Lovely little touches like the sweets made available each day in the lobby and the well-stocked vending machine (including beer and wine!) on each floor showed further care and attention for guests. Nothing was ever too much trouble for staff, be it requesting a kettle and iron, or a daily omelette prepared to order - all staff were smiley and friendly throughout! Overall, we had a great experience at Leonardo Royal and would thoroughly recommend to others looking for a similar break to us in the future! Viel Spaß!

Our stay was quite nice! Staff were very friendly and food was amazing for room service. On top of this we got upgraded from a comfort to deluxe for no extra charge! Room was lovely and comfortable. Would definitely stay again in the future!

A clean and well positioned hotel for either a business or family stay in Berlin.

Excellent location to discover Berlin with a tram stop a very short walk away. Hotel has a nice interior with helpful staff. Room was lovely and quite. Super comfy beds. Only issue I had were pillows weren't that great.

The stay at the hotel has been a pleasant experience. All the staff have been helpful and responsive at every request. We have enjoyed our stay and will gladly recommend the hotel to everyone.

Clean and nicely decorated hotel (original/vintage interior lights at the reception, large staircase, easy parking :-) Nice and cozy bar, large comfortable bedrooms. Very nice and helpful personnel, Small imperfections but nothing really worth mentionning. Price/Quality/location I would definetly advise.

From checking in and being allocated a lovely room when the check-in team knew we are Leonardo club members to the delicious breakfast with such a variety to returning in the evening to spotlessly clean and fresh room again the Leonardo royal alexanderplatz has been a great hotel for us to stay in when we visit our family in Berlin, we have been coming to the Leonardo royal alexanderplatz for 8 years now which shows how much we enjoy our stay

Very pleasant stay in this hotel. Berlin was extremely warm during our stay, buy the air condition works really well Breakfast menu has a lot to offer, although we would have preferred some fresh fruit. We found parking on of the hotels own parking. It was 60€ for 3 days
